Attendees: Adrian, Helen, Nick, Andy, Roy.
Still no-one from Forest Fields Independent Residents' Group who have agreed to give us £300.
Lenton Baths have shut. Loukas has contact number for the campaign group.
Letter received from LibDem councillor for Arboretum, Tom Stephenson. Supports closure on current evidence. Willing to be convinced otherwise if figures for swimming are invalid or there was to be private control of new pool etc. Seems mis-informed about consequences of opening a pool on a school site (believes public will have access during school day).
Letter received from a Service Manager (Nigel Hawkins) in City Council allowing us to use Noel St for a public meeting, though hire cost will be £23.50 per hour. He also offered to meet us in advance.
Lyndsey had produced a few posters. These were handed out.
Decided that there is not enough momentum in the campaign yet for a public meeting. Instead, will spend time gathering information to make a solid case. First step to write to Council with long list of questions to get definite information on various issues.
Ask Lyndsey to provide file from which poster was produced so it can be put on website so supporters can print and display it.
Loukas will get SIM card for a spare mobile phone. Number to be added to posters, website etc.
Adrian and Helen to compile questions into a letter and to send it to Nigel Hawkins, Service Manager - Business Support, NCC (See Above).
Adrian to distribute minutes to this meeting.
